Giving a massive reason to rejoice to Mohanlal fans as well as cinema lovers all over, director Jeethu Joseph has announced that Drishyam 3 is in plans and he will announce further details soon.
Drishyam which was first released in 2013 saw a sequel early last year where it premiered directly on OTT instead of going for a theatrical release. The franchise has ever since become extremely successful spanning remakes in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi.
While Kamal Haasan featured in the Tamil remake title ‘Papanasanam’, the Telugu remake starred Venkatesh and was titled ‘Drushyam’. The Hindi version also named ‘Drishyam’ saw Ajay Devgn while the Kannada remake was titled ‘Drishya’ featured Ravichandran.
Mohanlal’s Drishyam starred Meena, Asha Sharath, Esther Anil, Siddique and Ansiba Hasan in key roles. Further details on Drishyam 3 will be out soon and fans cannot wait now for more updates.
